Background
Rabba Fine Foods has had a proud history of bringing the highest quality food to our customers with a friendly, more personal touch. CJR Wholesale is the wholesale division of Rabba which provides services to over 500 stores across the Greater Toronto Area.
Relationship
In 2011, Rabba realized they needed to streamline the ordering process for their wholesale division. Rabba approached Idextrus to develop a mobile application for their Sales Reps to use onsite at the stores. At the time, Idextrus did evaluate a true mobile application, but after considering the requirements, we advised building the application as a mobile-ready web application. The application includes our full-service back office administration system flexAdmin which powers product management, order management, customer management and much more.
Recently, the application has evolved into one that relies strongly on the local storage capabilities built into the current HTML5 specification. Sales reps and customers can pick orders, count inventory and so much more, even without an internet connection!
